Cool Little Poem - The Gardener

  • Firstly, I did not write this, I just enjoyed the moral of the story and thought I’d share.

:fallen_leaf: The Gardener :leaves:

He has in the palm of his hand a tiny seed.

He does not know what kind of seed it is, a sunflower, a wild flower, or something else (wink wink).
Now the gardener can take that seed and toss in the trash where it will never sprout, grow or bloom… end of story!

He can also take this tiny seed and plant it in a small pot. He will check the nutrient levels of the soil and make sure it has what it needs and the right amount of sunlight. It may take the gardener to adjust this several times.

Finally one day he will see a little sprout and he knows it’s getting the right care. :seedling:

One day the sprout will be much bigger and it’s time to plants the sprout outside. :leaves:

He keeps nasty weeds & pests away and makes sure it’s getting the right amounts of sunlight, water and soil.

Over time the sprout becomes a sprouting plant, it has a flower bud, but what could bloom. :tanabata_tree:

He continues his work, caring and paying attention to his delicate flower bud.
The one day the flower opens up and is the most beautiful flower the gardener has ever seen. :wilted_flower:

Now the seed held the potential and power to be a beautiful flower all along, but without the gardener she would have possibly never reached her full potential.
