Cooking method vs. 3 week cold/shaking method?

Which do you prefer for making vape oil? With which do you have the best results? Thank you.

I’d think for vape oil the less time the flower in the solvent the better tasting it will be due to less plant material extracted.

I use the quick wash method.Freeze alcohol and bud overnight add together and shake like hell for 5 minutes.Put back in freezer for 1 hour, shake again and filter.Use more alcohol to do a second wash,then evaporate alcohol. Done.Ready to add cutters and load carts.
