I have the heated mat and propogator. I was think about keeping a bowl of water inside also just so they have enough humidity. Any thoughts. I am gone 12 hours a day.

It can be costly and is best used with higher temps and higher than usual amount of lighting. Your plants won’t be able to utilize increased CO2 concentrations without supplemental lighting. Supplemental CO2 is ineffective, or is at least very expensive, unless you maintain a closed environment.
If you remain interested I would search on CO2 and cannabis. There are quite a few online resources that discuss methods for increasing CO2 for your grow.
