I worked for a florist back in the 1970’S … They would turn flowers different colors using ( food coloring ??? Dye ??? Ink ??? ) … Can I change the flavor of my flowers EX: ( Lemon Extract / Terseness? … Vanilla Extract / Terpenes? …Mint / Terpenes?)…
In other words …
Harvest stems with buds .....
Put bottom of stems in ?%? solution of water and Extract .....
Stems drink up Extract into flowers instead of a color ...IT IS FLAVOR ..
After a few days ..... Hang and dry as normal ..... Then cure .....
Would this work out? ..... Is it possible? .....
I am Thinking Capillary Flavoring might be a neat thing to do/try .....
Boutique Flavored Medicine ..... Are not Terpenes an Alcohol? .....
I remember doing this in kindergarten, we put food color in the water and the white flowers turned purple.
Don’t know if it would work with flavor extract.
Will be following
The fudging man… I’ve heard about people putting orange peels or what have you in the jar to cure and try and give flavour but never this. I’m going to pick my smallest plant and try this. What you thinking 2 weeks before harvest mix vanilla extract food grade into the feed?
If your not loving the idea of being the guinea pig help me research it a bit and I’ll let you know what happens might try food colouring also… blue buds anyone?
Want natural colors to come out. Add ice to the roots every night cycle in the last 2 weeks. Also put into a bag so not to over water. I had a lemon haze turn red and yellow with streaks purple. My temps were 90-66. If doing don’t over do the ice
