would pumping co2 into the roots area of a nft system every day for a few mins to fluch out dead air be a good idear or would it shock them or make it unstable in any way

My root systems are completely sealed off from the air environments in the room , if that makes sense…
High amounts and even low amounts of c02 in your root system will cause crazy ph issues at the root zone, especially in dwc or rdwc systems and as well as nft or ebb & flow…
Sometimes I add c02 to the room , but you definitely don’t want that air mixing with your root’s…

I totally agree with your statement. Probably just spellchecker buttin in but co2 is carbon dioxide. C0 is carbon monoxide.
