Cloning with aloe Vera

They picked up thankfully! Grew a little more as well it looks like… tiny amount, but growth. Indica strain.

Ladies are looking awesome - newbie question. Would you trim the side growths? Keeping the fan leaves, side beach is getting bigger than I feel like it should be. Barely a clue what I’m doing with the mother, let alone the babies  any and all advice welcomed from anyone lol- thanks all!!!

Getting big enough to tie them down some.
I use those big crafting safety pins from dollar general or wherever you can get them and pin the pot sideways near the rim and then use soft coated wire to tie the plant to the pot using the pins.
I look at the plant and bend the main stalk over and down a bit figuring out which direction that will allow the most side branches to be exposed to light. Then tie that down and as the branches grow longer I tie them down. You’ll need to keep adjusting existing tie downs and add more as you go trying to make a table…think old wagon wheel on its side with the branches being the spokes and the outside of the pot being the wheel. When growth gets bigger you’ll start to defoliate lower leaves on bottom of branches (bottom of spokes that won’t see light) run your finger along a branch from outside…bottom and those sub branches you come across you’ll probably remove as they are on the bottom of the spoke.
Hope this makes sense as I’m tired and medicated after a long day…haha

My clone that was flipped 4 weeks from cutting. Transition to flower went in just a few days it seemed fast but they are mature plants to start with. This worked well so I’ve started more to just keep my flower tent full and throw them in like autos to fill in gaps.

So I read your post. I have used strait water. Gel also. Just water works just fine. I have make teas before with Molasses B-52 and Nirvana that works pretty well. I have been reading and seeing a lot of using aloe. You must have started something. Your post came up on a google. I did a round this time. Half water the other with aloe. I’m cloning in water. We see with ones bust first. Thanks for you post.

I tried to give you a closer look but the picture was to large.

the yellow ones are just water the orange are dipped in aloe.

A lot of those plants I put down. Bad genetics. But the clones are OK I do have roots starting with just the water. I’ll be getting me some new seeds. The plants I have now are clones from someone else. They really weren’t in the best shape when I got them but the plants look good they were in there or third week of flowering. Got some big hips. The girls are pretty big. Thank you I got a lot to learn

Someone just mentioned to me that rabbit poop doesn’t need to be composted and can be used right away as it. It that what you’ve found?

Not sure, but since rabbits eat it, and you’re seeing after the second time through, (out?) it wouldn’t surprise me.

@Skydiver @Covertgrower … I’m using it without composting … no problem what so ever

Rickandbobbyd-
I think you got your answer about cloning a clone. If that strain is a winner and you want to clone it, you might want to think about turning one of the clones into a mother plant (if it’s a photo). That way, as long as you don’t flip it, you can keep her in veg and take clones whenever you need them. Just my 2 cents. Peace…
