Cloning, no growth

A question from a fellow grower:

  1. When you clone a female plant that is in a vegatative state and the clone takes and starts to grow roots, but also starts to flower, why does this happen? Last year I had 6 clones that never gre taller than 6 inces and stayed in the flowering state, This is happening again.

  2. Any idea why the new plants are not growing? I have never seen plants not grow. They are alive, well watered and get plenty of sun, but they are not growing. They are small and staying small, just adding a leaf here and there. usually after a month outdoor in the ground plants start getting taller, wider and more and more leaves and bigger as they grow. But this year all my new plants from seeds are growing super slow. Any idea why?

Are you still using trusted strain or have you bought more seeds?
Sounds like you tried to clone autos, just sound weird.

Sounds like a stunting problem maybe from stress. I’m a beginner still but I’d say fill out a support ticket if possible because anything else would just be guesses from everyone. I’ll throw in my two cents and opinion though just because I like to test myself on these things, and if I’m wrong well, the right answer usually comes later.
I think you may have waited a little to long in the vegetative state to get a clone, and if it’s an autoF then it probably didn’t have enough time to recover before it decided to autoflower. But again JMO. Did your plants start off from seeds or a clone? Could be shock stress or it could be a number of other things. Can’t really tell without specifics.
