Clones with little to few root hairs?

I have some clones in the cloner machine. They have long roots but not a lot of root hairs.

My question is… can I transplant them to solo cups in dirt and more root hairs will grow??

It’s my understanding that the root hairs are essential and do the actual feeding when being watered.

As long as there are sufficient roots then you can go ahead and plant them and yes root hairs will grow after planting just fine.

Not sufficient roots for planting:

I like my clones to have roots like this before planting:

If your clones only have a long root or 2 instead of a mass of roots, you could trim up those long roots some and let it root longer.

Appreciate the response. So most of these are good to go

Yeah those are fine for planting, plenty of roots.
