this was the mother plant after harvest half of it and played with some other tricks

like splitting the stalks

two days later started growing new buds and what everyone calls foxtailing so instead of chop let it grow.grew for about another 6 weeks more —took my clone and chopped her down. dryed and cured in jars three weeks .-smoked some to day , fruity citrus smell and a uppity buzz -get-r done-

she is big enough, so cut top off of what i thought was main stem- hard to judge since it grew up and down branches not across .more like a mature plant.

can see little brown spot where i cut .

so catching up to 8-20-21
time to transplant . was tricky getting it out of 3 gal. fabric pot, was roots to the walls.- fab. pot doing its job and a fan of fabric now. self trimmed roots. (yea). going in 7 gal. pot with better aged supersoil ( home made )

Is that what you were after? Otherwise, maybe cut her a week or two early. Do you use a grow light? The mother and bud look light starved.

I’m going to be starting my monster cropping run shortly. Cleaned out my nursery in preparation and now I just need to wait a week or so for my buds to mature enough (I wait until the 3rd or 4th week of flower).

This is my grow journal. It would probably better if you set it to watch. I try to keep track of all my little projects.

I’m worthless for advice but just wanna watch !!
Lol

Hey - I have a 32w FEIT. It does the job for sprouting seeds. It just needs a little help as the plants grow. She looks good in the photo from today. You have it nicely spread out. Are you keeping the string used to tie down loose around the stems? Rapid clip plant ties make easy work of that.
I am curious how your 4th gen clone does. I took 3 generations of cuttings. I stopped after the third because it didn’t seem as vigorous as the 1st & 2nd.

@beardless - you bet- all are grow expandable hook ups. tie a loop at end of string put loop around stem and pull string threw loop just to the knot. clip to side of pot.

and yes i have 700 watts led- marshydro 2000 two of them and a 1000 - actual watts is 700 and if thats not enough i have a sun-system hps 400 flower power light but she hot to use and expensive.

photos tell it all
Sometimes I make a hook out of soft wire

With the aforementioned plant ties

Binder clips anchor them to the pot.

the 1 thing i think i did wrong last time was not right lights and let grow to long before starting 12/12 , like 8 months. this time we lst and cut with good lights and and supersoil and plan on watching the plant to tell me when to flip.
