Chocolope budding mainly at the top

From a fellow grower: Bought chocolope seeds from you guys.
It’s a very healthy plant, just one issue.
It is budding mostly at the top (12 ft. high now).
Do I harvest just the top buds when they’re ready?

You can do a multiple stage harvest, if the buds at the top reach ripeness first, you can take those down and wait for the bottoms to catch up.

It’s looking like I may have to do this on Trixie, but not sure yet. The very bottom bud is a week or two behind. It’s trying to catch up, but I don’t know if it will in time.

I have not had to personally do it, mostly because I like to let my top buds get over ripe and the bottoms are pretty good, but I like the mixture of trichomes I get from that. There are a lot of people on here that have done it with great success.

I’ve never done it either. Just heard of it being done. Makes me nervous. :grimacing:

I’m probably going to have to do it with the crazy strawberry cough that is taking over my closest lol, but I have a feeling that she is going to grow really tall and make me do a multiple stage harvest.
