This an old thread. Good luck with the seedlings. Shortly after I posted about using peat pots I had some bad luck with a couple of seedlings. I just could not get the watering right and lost a couple. I blamed it the the peat pots retaining too much water (of course I could have watered less and not as often). Anyway I have switched to using small seed starter trays filled with coco and I have not had the overwatering problem. From the tray I go to a 1 gallon transplanter pots with a Velcro closure.
