Cat piss pheno on black sugar

Anyone experienced the “cat piss” pheno from their plants? Good sign,bad sign?:man_shrugging: I’m growing 4 black sugar by seedsman and they are only 3 weeks old and reek of cat piss when I rub the leaves (no cats here)
@KeystoneCops you mentioned you dropped a black sugar bean, what kinda smells are yours giving off?

I had some WW that my wife complained of cat piss smell. I didn’t smell it but she insisted.

I too have black sugar seeds and am curious about this 3 weeks cat pheno, hopefully when the time comes I sprout the same pheno

Holy moly…my Maui photo and Tangerine smelled of cat pee for 3 weeks.
2 days ago no cat smell and wowza it is smelling lovely now. Wondering if it is Tangerine because the previous Maui didn’t smell bad. any ideas? thanks cyn

:rofl: What Im wondering is how so many people know what cat piss smells like?..I wouldn’t know cause Ive only had dogs… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:…and I wouldn’t want my weed to smell like dog piss…Im hoping cat piss smells way better then cat crap…I know cause ive had to pick it up off my lawn YUK!! lol.
On a more serious note…What does the info from the strain say its supposed to smell like?

I did a search for “ammonia smell in weed”
And according to leafly it’s not a good thing… now they are talking about drying and curing though

Since yours is still growing it probably doesn’t apply but is a good read

I remember one time I told a friend that the weed we smoked tasted like nuts… :joy: OMG I never heard the end of it…I meant nuts like a nutty seed taste like: walnuts or sunflower seeds…! Not those other “nuts”
We named it Nut Weed…from then on.
