Carbon filter help

Is it normal to have a slight smell in the room you’re tent is in if you have a carbon filter inside the tent? I haven’t had very many issues but am noticing it a lot more now it has only been in the tent for roughly 50 days. New grower so I’m not sure if this is normal or I need a new filter.

Are you in flowering stage?

Yes autos, but they have been flowering for a few weeks now. Some days the smell in the area the tent is in, is worse then other days. Might be normal just not sure if I should be able to smell it strongly if I have a filter inside the tent and it’s all sealed up

Am still on my first carbon filter, what I have read they typically have a 1 year life cycle. If you bought yours new, then you have a time frame.

As Kellydans is pointing out best practices to help control the smell.

To answer your question, yes at your stage it’s normal and the smell gets a little stronger before you harvest
