Cannabis leaves bending

q1

Anyone know why they would become bent like this?

Im not completely sure about the leaves but you may want to lower your light down a bit to control that stretch. What kind of light are you using right now?

I’m using a 24w 6400k T5, it’s about 4-6 inches from the top of the plant rn, the seedling next to it seems to be stretching as well but the light is low as possible with the dome on.

Your plants look a healthy color green to me. I’m not sure if its strain or pheno related but I have seen some funky looking first leaves. Someone else may see something I dont

If your ph is on target and light are at a good distance I’d chock it up to genetics. I’ve had a few do this

do you have a fan on it constantly?? plant looks like its stretching alot & if you run a fan constantly on it. fan leafs will grow tremendously. fan makes roots stronger & sturdier

as you can see this one looked the same way , i think it is perhaps a strain genetic …
It looks good now … what strain is yours i believe mine is a Black widow , or even LA Confidential …

@tribblesr

Can you show a side picture of how much the seedlings are stretching??
Also i would still recommend having the fan constantly on it to make plant stem sturdier. my opinion

Not sure about the leafs but I’d burry some of that stem. It’ll help with root development and make your plant more sturdy.

@Dame619 i did have a streching problem at the beginning with a couple of plants , but when i re-planted them in a larger container i buried a lot of that excess stem . they are looking better now … Thanks and here is a photo from 4/4/19

Added some more dirt…should I take off the humidity dome completely, I usually have it cracked open at the bottom for some airflow.

My opinion is your plants are looking fine. nothing wrong with the set up. i usually use the humidity domes for the first 2 weeks since sprout. but some people cut it short to 1 week. i see your humidity is at 41% which is kind of low for Beginning of veg stage. i would try to bring that up to 65-75%

other than that you are doing great my friend.

Always remember. KIS

Welcome to the forum, @JohnDoe97. The dome helps keep the humidity up, which helps the plant develop a root structure. I like the cracked opening for air flow, stay with what u are doing, imo.
