Hi my question is, can you tip an autoflower plant the same as you can a normal plant?

Yes you can top and Auto plant. I like to top Autos one time and let the outer branches catch up. An make even canopy. Just keep in mind most autos have a short veg time.

I would do so very carefully, and only if the plant is vigorous, healthy, and has several nodes (4-5) within a couple weeks. If it’s already growing slowly, topping it will slow them even more, and hurt your yield.
