Can’t tell if ready to harvest

Need help. I’m trying to figure out whether my plants are ready to harvest. I look at trichomes under microscope but it’s hard to tell if they are milky. They look clear but a few looked like they were clear but at some amber color at the very end of them. Don’t want to harvest them too late or too early. Harvesting has been a struggle for me. Trying to get it right. Can anyone tell my looking at this pic if they are ready.

Judging by the look of this single pic It looks like a plant that has just begun to flower.
How old is the plant? How long has it been flowering?
And just fyi, Its really hard to wait too long to harvest a plant. They don’t go past the harvest window in a short time. It takes weeks.

I would leave them for awhile longer, I can say I chopped early because of PM , And it was still pretty good, Amber Trichomes are the Best , you can also look at the pistols turning mostly red , Then you can says she’s Done , alot of fan leaves turn yellow and start dieing that’s another sign :metal: But even now I have a tendency to want to Chop Early

It’s an autoflower. About 9 weeks old.

Definitely not ready yet. I dont see any signs of herming but i would back off the nitrogen a bit.

You have a few weeks to go then. How many weeks has the plant been flowering?

Good advice. Dark, waxy leaves = nitrogen toxicity. It’s not bad at this point, but I would let your plant use the nitrogen it has and stop feeding N for a week or so before it gets out of control.

I haven’t added any nutrients. Just using fox farm soil

Will the leaves start turning yellow when time and crystals start turning milky?
