Can someone please tell me what this could be. It's happening and spreading fast whatever it is

What could this be The strain is a Night Nurse and I’ve grown it from a regular seed, growing indoors in Fox Farm Oceangrow an it’s going on its 7th week of flowering. I bought some Comeback from SledgeHammer as well as Big Bloom by Fox Farm. The Comeback calls for Teaspoon and the Big Bloom calls for Tablespoons and I accidentally got distracted and put 3 tablespoons of Comeback in a gallon of water and then put 4 teaspoons of Big Bloom. I hope it’s not nute burn or light burn. Could you check it out and let me know please. What’s going going wrong…

If you applied nutrients incorrectly it’s best to reset with a flush and after drying out; feed again.

I need a bunch of info before I say anything concrete so please fill this out and be as complete as possible. WHAT lights, WHAT is your water, WHAT is the ambient temp/RH, please be specific.

Do you take runoff numbers?

I would say your plant is getting hungry for P and K. I would also suggest dosing with cal mag for the first 6 weeks of actual flower. It doesn’t look bad at all but you have the beginnings of some deficiencies that you’ll want to support with nutrients. I would be feeding around 1,000 to 1,100 ppm in and monitor the outflow TDS.

I have 2 other plants in there, but I don’t know what they are. So go ahead and continue putting my SledgeHammer Comeback and Fox Farm Big Bloom in it I mix them together in a gallon jug of water or should I stop those 2 and go pick up some calmag. Thank you and everyone else so much for helping me out. I dont have a ppm tester, Should I get one when I go get some cal mag.

Sledgehammer is a flushing agent and should only be used for that purpose. Never add anything else as it eliminates the effectiveness of both products. Sledgehammer should be used to flush per the package instructions. Feeding is done at a different time.

I’m sorry I meant Bushdoctors Boomerang Comeback.

@Myfriendis410 has you covered with great advice. Sledhammer is for scheduled flushes. I use fox farm nutes, also I add cal mag. Imo you should use the schedule. They need more than big bloom and comeback. Here’s a good video on the fox farm nutes

Good luck with your girls :v::green_heart:

The good people above have you pretty solidly covered. Just to recap.

The nutes u have are not truly nutrients. More supplements. Big Bloom is an organic low concentration nute. Aids in flowering but not really high in NPK. Boomerang is a microbe innoculant? Its more of to recharge r microbe herd and help the plant feed better. Neither is really the proper NPK to fully grow weed to its potential. Ull need the rest of the ‘trio’ (Grow and Tiger Bloom) or some other nutes to feed correctly.

If ur using bottled water and nutrients WITHOUT ph’n properly it could be a simple nutrient lockout. A pen will go MILES with this endeavor of potgrowing.

U should be:
Getting water
Adding stuff
Checking ph
Adjusting ph back into 6.3-6.8 range (nutes really drop ph)
Testing runoffs periodically

Most important step in there is Step 3. Checking n adjusting nutrient solution BEFORE pouring.

Those speckles look like the start of calcium deficiency. As stated id get some calmag to go with the things u have. And also find a more steady flow of NPK. Ocean Forest is a well made soil that handles the first couple months for u, but as she goes deeper into flower, she’ll need more

You really really really need to follow a published grow schedule until you are salty enough to mix and match.

Plants are showing early signs of deficiency, cal mag, some N and a higher ratio of P and K to give your plant the needed food. When using the FF grow schedule be aware the TDS scale they use is Canadian/UK (700 scale). Us Americans use the 500 scale (NaCl). So when they are saying you should be at 1,300 ppm you should adjust that down by 1/3 to around 900 to 1,000 ppm.

IIRC the 700 scale is Potassium Chloride

Those temps seem a bit high, can you aim for mid 70s? day and 70ish night? You are getting pretty close to heat stress in the day temps and nights can afford to be as much as 10 degrees cooler but upper 70s is a tad warm for sleepy time.

OMGeee! The charts the manufacturers supply are soooooo misleading! They give a rough seedling/veg/ flower ratio but nowhere does it stipulate the plants this will work for! Try the suggested mixture on Peppers! Uh nope, not gonna work! Tomatoes? Nope again! Lettuce !! Hell no !! Do all strains of cannabis like the same mix? Nope again!
That’s why I say groups like this are indispensable when you need info. Someone else out here in grow yer own stone land has had experience using the same shit and can give you a great starting point. That’s what it is a starting point. You will likely find that you lights, environmental factors and strain will require some tweaking!

Wow i never knew that about the scales. I use FF nutes and have been mixing to the ppm on my American meter. My plants are super happy and show no signs of nute burn. So im gonna keep pouring it to them. It comes out to be almost double what the schedule says. Lol.

Okay so I need the big bloom, tiger blood, Bushdoctors Comeback and some calmag and start adding those to it. Can you please tell me what I should get and how I should start. Mixing all of them together and pouring it in my plant or how should I go about it.

There should be a writeup to adding them on a schedule somewhere. Let me find one

How old are ur plants and what kind of soil?

@BobbyDigital and @Myfriendis410 have been schooling me on nutrient mixing orders lately

It won’t matter the order. As long as you’re not mixing the nutes themselves together. I just go down the line. Big bloom into the water, mix well. grow big into the water, mix well. tiger bloom into the water, mix well and so on.

Okay so I went and got some General Hydroponics calmag+ and Tiger bloom a couple days ago I’ve been giving it pretty much water for the past 1 or 2 weeks before 2 days ago when I added the calmag+ and tiger bloom and I mixed a gallon of them together and poured it all in the 5 gallon smart pot there was some run off but the pot had sucked it up when I checked on it the next day it seems like its getting worse. I know it takes some time, but how much? My temps are lowest 72° morning and highest 81°midday and the humidity will fluctuate threw out the day from 44 to 54. I dont have a ppm meter to test the water, I dont have the funds to get one until my next paycheck but is there anything I can do I feel like my girl’s

suffering.:disappointed_relieved: By the way Thank you for everyones advice and help every bit counts and you can never learn to much! @Myfriendis410 @PurpNGold74 @Cannabian and to everyone else that doesn’t mind helping your newer growers, you guys keep it alive and that’s awesome.

My plants are about 14 weeks old and I’m using FF Oceangrow

So , your letting it sit in a tray and soak up the old nutrients…?
I’m not understanding…
You either bottom feed or you top feed and get rid of the runoff …
Your plant looks like it’s got alot of some nutrients and not enough of other’s…
This means 1 of 2 things…
Either your ph is out of wack or your not feeding it a balanced nutrient schedule for the stage of growth that it’s in…
Wrong nutrients for stage of growth …
