My boy bought mulch and we are using it and now have knatts in grow room what should i do
Get rid of the mulch and get soil for growing suck as promix or ocean forest.

Soil should be cleaned or never use outdoors medium. I went hydroponics because of the bugs.

That was a bad idea… no matter how you go about this hobby… there are just some things that you cant skimp on…
Get some yellow sticky traps around the pots…
Put some fly traps on the ceiling…
Take a couple of potatoes and cut them into 4’s and put a peice ontop of the soil of each pot… nats will rather lay there eggs in those rather then your soil… when you start to see a bunch of lil white worms sticking there heads out of the potatoes… discard and replace with a new peice… also sprinkle a little DE ontop of your soil…
Also look for a good quality soil that works for your needs…
