Can i trim some of the big leaves to give more light to small leaves? Or is that a bad thing to do? I have a 600w hps light
My advice right now looks like prime lst start just tie the top of the plant down where it’s completely horizontal this tricks the plant into thinking it’s been knocked over so it stimulates grow hormones and willl make he become a monster! Top her now and lay over or lay over wait for her to grow 3-4 inches back straight up then top don’t trim any leaves yet your plant is still young just tuck the bigger ones down once you tie it over
What he said
LST does wonders!
Plants still young try not to remove any leafs she needs all she has to grow…
The LST I use isn’t quite as excessive as his I just simply tie the top over and let the plant do it’s thing… this will give you many real nice large colas
But above looks amazing love me some training techniques!
Man i never knew thats ill definitely tie her down right down how long should i keep it like that? Im about to be in flowering next week
I lst throughout the whole process from about week2 seedling /week 1 veg as soon as they get 4 nodes I top the. To three wait till they grow the length of pot usually start with 5 gallon and transplant to 15 after a few weeks tie he straight over and once she grows 3-4 inchs(it will be straight up from where you tied her) tie her down to another “corner” of the pot I usually use 12’ 3’ 6’ 9’ on a clock if that makes sense by the time you main stem gets back to the starting 12’ o clock position the smaller limbs will be well grown then just use those to finish the “clock” have a main bud/branch at every full number of the clock and you willl get mad growth
Man thats smart i just tied her down now ill make sure to do this from now on thanks
I would remove the leafs that you have touching the soil.
Will it mess the plant up if the leaves are touching the soil?
Yeah @Joker1998 it’s a good practice anything touching the soil keep it clipped off. I also like to keep cleaned out around the top of the pot to make it easy for watering and feeding.
The leaves can mold from the moisture in soil deff trim ones touching or tuck them up and behind another branch
How’s it going since you tied her bud ? Currently working on my two late flowering (Lights flipped 2 weeks after the other three here’s the progress
about to work on the one in the back corner nowThose plants are looking good bro an ive switched into flower a week ago not sure if the plant is really is flower or what lol and the newer leaves are also starting to faid color to a light green not sure if thats normal
@Joker1998 You’re new growth lighter green that’s normal. After the flip usually take 7 to 10 days before you see flowering start, Nice plant.
Thank you I appreciate it lol im trying not to ruin the plant new grew anything before
