I have a Mars Hydro tsw2000 with a true wattage of 400 and an older Viparspectra 600 with 130 true wattage. Would the two together be too much light for that size tent?
I do, just don’t look at lights. 4x4x6.5 tent with Vipar Spectras V1200 &R900 p;us Vivosun 1000 and some 50’s Temp in the summer was the issue. Light on for winter keeps heat in lung room.
Trying 10/2 cycles for heat and flowering. Seedlings along for the ride.
How high above canopy are your lights? I’ve much experience burning flower crops and keeps lights high, so leaf temp is -3 degrees from tent temp (VPD software). Good growing to us all. Grow tent cooling as well as air exchange are issues to be addressed. I am a fan for AC-Infinity products designe to assist growers and make growing easier with automation software.
Would think you would not need it? That be like 88 watt per sq foot. I like overkill to but that is not needed imo
I’m thinking more like 200 watts and 60 for the other? Do you have the manufacturers docs that state otherwise
40-50 true watts per square foot would be optimum to cover that space wall to wall
That’s the info on the documents. I thought it sounded high though.
That was my fear. Do I need it or am I just getting carried away because I have a new tent with more space?
Neither the temp or RH seemed to change with the extra one on. But I’ve removed it now.
You gotta go by the actual wattage. You want a minimum of 33 watt per sq foot. I like running 40. This is obviously during flower and not veg.
