Can I put a regular plant with an auto and will the auto get seeds?

A question from a fellow grower:

Just a quick question, if I put a male regular plant with white widow feminized auto flower will the female plant go to seed or do I need both plants to be regular and not auto flower feminized ?

Yes, if you put a male regular plant with a white widow feminized auto flower, the female plant will become pollinated and produce seeds.

However, like begets like, and so these resulting seeds will have some males, and some females, as well as all of them potentially being autoflowers, or not.

To clarify, you might get some males that are autos and some that are not. And you might get some females that are autos, and some that are not.

Happy growing,
