Can ground stalks be added to the soil as an additive?

A customer has a question and I hope we can get some opinions on it, thanks

Hi, Can ground stalks be added to the soil as an additive? Does it make sense at all? We use coconut fiber, maybe fiber from stalks. Maybe the stems have some NPK in them? Will I make fertilizer out of them? What will they give to a plant? I request information Peace

You can indeed make compost from ground stalks I wouldn’t add them directly rather give them some time to breakdown dead green plant matter can promote bad bacteria and pests which target MJ plant. So a cooking/composting period or even fermenting for tea is good option
