Bushy VS. Stringy

How come all the pictures of other peoples plants look nice and bushy and mine look stringy and spindly?

They are coming along! Don’t get over stressed, they are in vegetative stage right now looks like…they start getting much thicker come the flowering stage. Your set up looks on point! Starting my clones in an expanded clay hydro system this week. Will be my first time on that. My first generation was soil grow though♡

I am 2 weeks into flowering and I still have a couple of girls who are thin.

Chances are there isn’t enough light intensity and or the spectrum isn’t right.

Looking into buying this system. Will that get my lighting better? Opinions on the system?

Those lights aren’t great either, what we call blurples, older tech LED.

Can anyone make a light, tent, fan kit suggestion then in that price range?

You’re better off sourcing everything yourself.

Most lower price tents are of the same quality. You can spend 2-3x on better tents, but that’s up to you.

What size space do you want to light? Then we can recommend lighting.

For cheap blurple lighting, hps, or cmh you need 50 actual watts (at the wall) per sq. ft.
For high end leds like PLC or HLG you’ll need about 32 watts per sq ft.
