Question from a fellow grower:
Great results with white widow. 4 plants with 2 lbs of buds.They smell
while they are growing but after harvest almost nothing at all. I took
your advice and stopped fertilizing 3 weeks before harvest. Any advice?

Heard this before it should come back after curing good luck and welcome. Half pound a plant you say ? Nice job you should post a pic for us we love white widows on here

Iām new at growing and I ran into the same problem. It smelled like dead grassš But after curing it in jars the smell came back. It took 30 days though for mine to smell wonderful.

Curing is a very hard stage for me to get through. The buds are cut and Iām ready to smoke!!! Lol
The advice is correct. As they progress in curing, the smell will return. Itās hard, but the wait will be well worth it.

I cut my WW and hung it in the bathroom with the vent on high , stunk like hell, when they were ready for mason jars they seemed to lose their smell, but after curing and burping for weeks the sweet aroma came back!!
8 oz. plants, awesome my grow friend ! the WW is on the preferred list for Huge outdoor grows, I was surprised when I read this. Lets see some pics !!
The advice is correct.
Mine always came back. When I broke it down to smokeā¦ Wow it would stink the whole houseā¦lol

@FyshhTrap I hear a lot about WW can you tell me how the strain is? Iām looking to get some seeds for the spring/summer that will grow well outside!!! Iām growing for the first time this year and I have to say outside is so much easier then inside. @Duke1 welcome aboard, Excellent question, Iām new to ILGM myself and just returned to growing after some years off,
I looked at many of the seeds sold here and looked at the beginners seeds, Feminized seeds and good for outdoors,
The White Widow Feminized looked to be about right for complete growth and flowering time, so I bought five and got five free for $50, The grow was very easy for me(gotta lot of help and advice from excellent growers here) but the plant grew great,very big , awesome buds, the more I looked into growing Huge plants(next year outdoor grow) the WW came up as a very great plant for that as well, Iām looking for Huge, going Big next season, 8ft. tall. 5ft. wide!! will it happen proly not , but, this plant has what it takes and I Never knew! My fem WW grew 5ft, tall in 3 months! Started inside for 5 weeks, then put it out side.

Iām 5"8 and was looking directly at the top of the cola while trimming her !!
Thatās her at 3 months.
Did nothing as far as LST, FIMing , etcā¦ just let her grow and watched, could only imagined if I did, and I will be next grow!
