Depends in if its bad or not. Most of the time its fine.
@new2-420 “What Is Foxtailing Weed? Foxtailing describes a condition where cannabis flowers take on a strange and irregular shape . As the name suggests, this frilly and elongated appearance looks remarkably like the tail of a fox. Under normal circumstances, cannabis flowers appear dense, rounded, and tight.”
“ While foxtailing itself bears no harmful effects , it may indicate that your bud is going through a beating, and could lose a good amount of potency in the process. If it is happening in an unnatural manner, here are some ways to prevent and “treat” foxtailing in cannabis.”
I hope this helps.
Look at the top of the cola and you can see fox tails. Mine only did it was because Texas shut our power off last year aka Feb 2021 for 70 hours.
Okay, i see it now. Thanks for the info. I knew it was from too much light but hadnt seen an example that had showed me the actual physical appearance/effect. Cheers!
A ton of new pistols but its all 1 big fat bud just real lose and kind of heavy
The buds look good there is quite a bit of fox tailing ,for what i have read and watched about getting solid buds is having ur temps around 18-22 degrees Celsius and ur humidity around 40% in the last few weeks of flower and also they said to dim ur light down abit and put it closer to ur plants so ur still getting the same par readings but at a lower setting .i would recommend you have a look on YouTube about how to get tight buds and how to prevent airy buds and also read the grow bible ,
