Bud rot week seven

Continuing the discussion from Welcome to the Grow Support category:

I’m in week 7 OG kush and I’ve started to develop bud rot but my humidity stays around 75-90% so I pulled humidity down to 50%ish and 70. On temp. Will the dryer cooler air stop the rot or should I cut all that’s infected. It was caught early

Welcome to the forum.

You’ll have to cut out affected areas. A dilute peroxide spray can help manage mold going forward.

Be sure to bag it and toss it out.

What ratio should my mix be

I would do 20% peroxide 80% RO or distilled water.

That shit screwed me out of +3/4 oz on my best plant last year! I’d cut the RH down to the 40s. All fans on deck! I use 4 in a 20x36” tent! I use @50/50 peroxide wash spray only sparingly, once a week or so. I also pulled the plants out just after they started flowering and bleached the tent again. I hate that bud rot!

A bud wash after harvest chop is good practice as well.

It also got me last year on my outdoor and now again but I have tent runing 40 RH and 70 degrees so far so good. I’ve been keeping eye on it and I just got rid of spider mites that didn’t know was spider mites so my one time beautiful OG kush is looking crazy

Welcome to the community Growmie. What’s all the white specs on the leaves. She appears to be bordering a nutrient toxicity as well… dark waxy leaves. What are your run off PPMS and PH? :love_you_gesture:

What cause powdery mildew on indoor cannabis?

Guys curious what I should do here. I grew outdoors. Was going perfectly fine protected them everytime from rain this time I rained for 4 days and they got hit with humidity and moisture. Just noticed this this morning… am I screwed this looks like bud rot? I’m a first time grower but that’s what it looks like from Googling. Is there anyway to stop it from spreading do I just cut it out? I hope my 2 plants aren’t screwed these were roughly 2 weeks from harvest

Hate to here that my friend but it most likely have to go once it gets started it goes deep into the buds one of these other friends might have something but most of the time it’s gone if if was me i would cut that top out and hopefully it didn’t spread
