Browning marijuana leaves!

A question from a fellow grower:

growing one Gold Leaf and one Pineapple Trainwreck. The gold leaf has developed some funky looking leaves and I was wondering if this is typical of GL or if there is a nutrient, heat or other issue.

Both plants are at day 41 of 12/12. Everything is the same for both plants: container, soil, nutes, feeding/watering schedule, etc. Lights are 1200w cfl and one 90w red led ufo.

The pic doesn’t show the severity of the cupping/tacoing the leaves are doing. You can readily see the edges of the leaves are browning. The leaves are also a little crispy.

This occurs mostly on the upper most colas/buds, so I’ve thought maybe it was a heat issue, but I check with my hand frequently and it never seems to hot.

The PT does not exhibit any of this.

Any advice you have will be appreciated.

Perhaps, the plant is telling you to lower the strength of your nutrient solution.

Another possiblity is that the LED lamp is burning the edge of the leaves. I have read that although not hot, LED has the potential to burn leaves if placed too cloe to the canopy. Hope this helps!
