My 6 week old goldleaf is suffering from brown rust looking spots. For the first month the ph was way too high and I also fed it tiger bloom instead of big bloom. I flushed the plant and since the. It has been getting 6.1 ph water and I fed it grow big and big boom with silica. The temp in my tent is81 and the is 38. And ideas on the brown spots?
I assume it’s a calcium deficient.
It could be calcium or it could be the lighting, how close is your light?
Also, welcome to the community!
Thanks for the welcome. The lights are two spider farmer sf2000s at 24" away. This is the only plant affected. The other gold leaf bounced back from my newbie mistakes and is responding well to lst with no signs of spots. I also have a chocolate skunk that is thriving at the same distance.
I would recommend raising the light. At least to “30.
Thanks for the advice. I’ll give that a shot. It’s growing vigorously and I don’t want to ruin it completely.
