Bogleg's Hazy Black and Blue Grow

Day 66 since the seeds germinated. Roughly Day 21 in flower for the BBA. Today is day 0 for 12/12 lighting on the BCK.

This morning ppms were relatively unchanged - 730ppm on both the BCK and BBA.

BBA:

With five weeks still remaining (roughly), I’m liking the bud development I’m seeing out of her.

BCK:

Once again it doesn’t seem that I have centered the plant very well on the screen. Oh well. As I said earlier, she was flipped to 12/12 today. She will get a thorough training session tonight and some defoliation. I have her pretty cleaned up under the screen.

GL1: Still has 8 tops.

GL2: Only has 7 tops - I snapped one off by accident.

Now onto the seedlings.

The AHA seedling is like two weeks old and now looks to be suffering a nutrient deficiency. Might I actually need to feed this little girl a few nutes? I might just toss her in the trash.

The Chronic Widow seed is emerging today:

…and I checked on the NLA seed that I just dropped into a rapid rooter (no germination step) and it has germinated successfully.

I think you made statement a couple weeks ago about having enough stretch without too much. I totally see that. Should have some nice donkey parts there if they go another 5 weeks.

Looking great @Bogleg they’re gonna make it!

I decided to move the stalled AHA seedling to a pot of dirt since it looks like she’s in desperate need of food.

Day 68 since germ. Day 65 since all seeds sprouted. Day 24 since the BBA went into flower. And Day 0 for the BCK in flower.

I was down in my garden this morning right when the lights were supposed to go out in the flower tent and the didn’t go out. Turns out I fat fingered the schedule in the app, and set it for 13/10 instead of 12/12. So today will be the first day of flower for the BCK. Tonight I am going to do a lot of defoliating on her. I am going to try and avoid the problem I had last grow where I had too much plant material crammed into places on the screen.

BBA this morning:

BCK:

GL2:

I didn’t do anything to the plants this morning - I’ll have a long gardening session tonight while the wife is at work.

Pushing that string up love the GL also.

The GL I scrogged last grow actually lifted the entire SCROG - frame and all - off the ground. I had to weigh down the corners.

What did it yield?

That’s good what size what the Scrog? Do you prefer the silver or gold to smoke?

Both the screens were roughly 20"x40" each.

I like them both for different reasons.

For a daytime smoke the SSH is awesome. I have to plan it - the first 30-45 minutes it’s a pretty powerful head rush so I need to settle into it before I can accomplish anything. But once that first 30 minutes is over, it’s awesome. Not speedy feeling at all (even at the initial stages), but gives me a lot of focus once I get into a specific task. I like it for days when I don’t have a lot of calls/human interaction planned but have a lot of work to do or chores to do.

The Gold Leaf is a much more relaxing high - almost no head high from the stuff I grew, but it saddles me with amazing waves of euphoria throughout my body. I reserve it for weekends and nights.

If I really wanna get down I combined the two and smoke them together. You get a pretty full experience that way.

That being said, I’ve probably smoked more of the SSH than the GL as the GL isn’t really conducive to me getting anything done.

Love it ha ha great description will be a while till mine are good to go. Hoping for 5 of each here.

Did you make bubble hash from the trim?

I will eventually. I did it on my last grow and it’s a pretty painless process. I just haven’t made the time to procure any dry ice yet.

Day 73 since germ. Day 70 since all seeds sprouted. Day 29 since the BBA went into flower. And Day 1 for the BCK at 12/12.

Had to top off both the BCK and BBA tonight. Plain water today - ppms after the top off were 825ish for both plants.

I’m hoping I’ll get at least one good training session out of the BCK again - maybe two.

BBA:

BCK:

Here is a photo of where I “fimmed” the BCK. You can see three main branches splitting off from the stalk.

GL1:

She’s developing nicely I think. Once she is outside I’ll start training the 4 inside colas to try and get them a little more spread out and more level with one another.

An interesting side note on her. One side is developing bigger than the other:

The side that’s bigger is the side I accidentally split where I topped it:

GL2:

You can see how she is missing a top… oh well. There is one under where the missing one was is that I topped - so it will eventually have 8 colas but two of them might be smaller than the others.

Thanks brother.

Not too much to report today. Just cruising along this morning. I did top off both the BCK and BBA reservoirs - PPMs on both plants are now at 671. We’re in week 5 of flower for the BBA with (supposedly) around 3 more weeks to go (we’ll see)… so this weekend at the conclusion of week 5 when I change out her reservoir, I will set her PPMs at 600-700. I’ll reduce by 100 ppm or so each week until the final flush week.

The good news is that now we are a month into flower, the bud porn starts!

BBA buds are starting to fill in nicely and they feel pretty good - squishy still, but not loose.

This first cola is one of the first two nodes/branches:

This cola is the super tall one on the plant:

And some bonus pics:

First some news: the BCK has flowers starting:

Last night I beat on her a bunch. And then some more. I was really not nice to her at all.

This morning, a mere 11 hours later, she was back on her feet:

Hopefully I have enough room left for what’s about to happen…
