BobbyDigi’s Never Ending Story

Figured I’d fast forward through the boring part of the grow. Laughing Buddha started her life by jumping out of her seed husk. 22 hours after dropping in water I look to find a little white seedling floating in the water. Wasn’t sure if she’d grow but boy did she.

Both Buddha and Maui popped out of the soil on 5/1. This was them 5 days later and they were transplanted into roots organic soil moments after this pic

Then them 6 days later

Another week later. They were both topped right after these pics

Another week later. Topping didn’t phase them a bit

Buddha putting out some huge leaves

And today I moved the flowering plants to the dark room and the new girls took over the big girl room where they’ll begin their training. Up to this point they’ve both received one top dressing of roots organic terp tea grow. They are 29 days old today.

Not sure when I’m going to flower these yet. We’ll see how well they adjust to the QB’s.

Lucky you…my Laughing Buddha seeds have been in Chicago since May 4th and the order disappeared. No one can locate the package. So my source is sending my same order again.

Mine came pretty quickly out of Maine. Hopefully you get yours soon. Digging these genetics so far. Both are showing their indica side; hopefully the sativa side shows itself come flower.

Sad part is my order is from April 20th. So if the package is being held up because of the virus, I would love to see the Post Office explain how my sister had a package go through NYC the hardest hit in the UsA.

Mine were ordered on 3/14. Shipped on 3/30 and arrived on 4/1

I have packages stuck in Commiefornia, Grapevine, Tx and Chicago. Luckily I paid the 2nd guarantee shipment or I would be screwed.

Ouch! Not having the best shipping luck!

Love to see your training. Lots of pics.

Nothing crazy at this point. Just spreading the new tops. Next watering the undergrowth will get removed. I’ll definitely pay more attention to documenting the training part. Something I skipped over on my last journal.

The secondary stems from topping are impressive. Binder clips employed, thanks to your recommendation, I have also repurposed their use too. I am trying bent wire staples to hold down and spread out the lower interior branches. Really easy and effective to use and even easier to adjust when it grows and you need to move the tie-down point. Looking forward to watching the progress. Especially the Maui.

Well done. I love seeing this. I’ll follow along to see how your training develops.

Very nice start! I didn’t realize you could top so early.

I’m set to watch this one Bobby. I started my plants 3 days after yours’. I topped a little later than you, but we seem to have similar growth. My veg tent is looking like a solid nap time with all that indica in there. I REALLY need to to get some sativas going. I think I’ll order up some laughing Buddha and get them started when I move the skywalker og and cherry pie to the flower tent.

Thank you for skipping the boring parts! Looking organized as always.

It all depends on size. These are some other plants that were 18 days old but not ready for topping.

Lower and upper canopy was trimmed up a few days back. It’s already starting to fill back in. Last watering she just received some epsom salt and tribus. Buddha already has a stink to her. Today puts them at 37 days
