Thanks @Graysin
Im still catching up with damage from the storm few weeks back plus trim jail and extra shifts at work.
Im getting there
Chopped both hollands hope plants today between shifts.
Noticed a few small buds had died back on critical orange punch at the same time thought its due to the dark breeze less environment they now in.
Due to the tarp over the roof that started leaking and flattening the solar batteries.
Turns out it was due to some stray pollen making seeds were i hadnt intended there to be seeds.
Got a few really nice dark seeds from them.
The branch i did pollenate seems like it could use another 6 weeks to mature yet.
Seems to be taking forever for this cop to mature
Ill check my journal see when it started to flower.
I know it got planted later than the others.
Next 2 days off ill see if i can scope the trichomes colour.
Cheers :beers:

This takes up all my time. Literally. Like add in storms and extra work and I’d be dead if I had to trim at the same time. I can empathize, that sounds like a serious drag.

If it was intentional pollen, then they’ll be wonderful seeds. :v: I know most growers hate it, but I’m coming to love breeding accidents

Heres to all my grow buddies from the up side of this amazing planet spinning in space positioned at exactly the right distance from the all conscious sun that it can be inhabited by us.
Theres air and water too.
Perfect.
Coincidence who knows.
Thanks for everyone support i feel truely chuffed
My mother in-law is a hardy woman for sure
In her younger years she flew twin wing tiger moths planes and yes nearing 95
One of a few women pilots of the time.
She walks to feed the ducks in the evenings something younger people struggle to do.
She lived in her home for more than 65 years before she came to terms she could no longer live there…
She has adapted well really considering
She is a bit ablivious of whats going on outside her world inside her accommodation she now has.
As far as the roof goes the repairs are slow
Ive hired a big tarp to cover the open roof in the mean time.
I went to a tin cladding company inquiring about the options of re covering the roof with new tin
Was a crazy experience complete loss of communication of what i needed.
In the end the women in the office got a guy from the factory floor to come out and talk to me.
Too easy. Turns out cladding is only made 1 .6 mts wide hence why there is a gap on my existing roof.
Of 300 mm
25 mm to an inch
So the tarp is costing 20 bucks a day til i sort it.
Bad time of year with little sun and heat to dry the roof out.
Ive been lifting the tarp back when i can to dry it out.
Next few days more rain forecasted.
Wont be going back to that company for what i need to repair the roof.
On the cannabis front i finally got all my drying plants trimmed this afternoon yay
So so much work for so little return. My buds were so hairy with tiny leaves yet buds so small.
I just dont know why.
Whether pollenating them reduced there size.
My application of dry organic nutes or just well hidden in bushes or all the above.
Yesterday i chopped and washed both my hollands hope plants.
And the green one has given me the best return on nice dark seeds out of all the plants i pollinated this summer.
The purple plant of hollands hope i have a few seeds from not as many.
Only critical orange punch to go.
I was going to chop and wash that tonight but its getting late here your tomorrow 7.30pm
Cheers :beers:

This a bit out of sequence by 3 days but good for my reference
Ive chopped both the hollands hope plants on the 23rd may 2023
It was time.
I got a couple macro shots of the trichomes of critical orange punch and still no amber showing.
She starting to wilt ive put her out in the sun yesterday and today
Yay days off and sun.
Actually ive tricked the weather as ive swapped my day shifts otherwise it probably be raining
That happened all last winter my days off it rained sunny while at work.
So im gunna chop panama red today give them a bath in some h202 then hang to dry in the sun :sun_with_face:
Leave cop for a bit longer see if she gives me some amber trichomes
Cheers :beers:

Well ive finally chopped my critical orange punch :facepunch:
Its official 27th May 2023
Gave it a h202 wash just on dark after work today.
Hung it up in an open air under roof area to dry.
Got rain for next few days and im away at work for 24 hours so hope it drys ok
Best i could do.
Thought it better in an area thats got a bit of air movement to help it dry and closed in while its still wet.
Never before have i had a plant still growing near the end of May
Thanks everyone for all your support during a long and challenging grow season yet again.
Cheers :beers:  :v: :clinking_glasses:
