A reliable light schedule is important for a healthy plant. To flower the plant you need 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness. You could cover the plant with a light proof bag or move it into a closet, but again you need reliability, and the plant needs to wake up and go to bed, so to speak, at the same time every day to avoid stress.
If this is not possible then you still have an alternative. An autoflower hybrid would be perfect.
