Indoor 3 x 3 tent. So 3 gallons is enough soil?

Do the photo outdoor and you auto do some LST cuz went they he big you don’t get space on you tent I have sour diesel autos in 4x2.5x2.5 and she is in week 6 and she is 4 ft tall and is just a auto, in photos is a lot big

I have a 3x3 and use both sizes. I try to have four plants in the tent. In the end I prefer 5. Capacity, root growth, watering frequency, things along that order favor the 5 gallon. The benefit of 3 gallon is because they are smaller and lighter they are easier to move around. And they take up less space in the tent so it makes access to water, etc. a little easier. The size of the plant relates more to how it is maintained, trained and pruned if that is a concern. I should also mention the strain plays a part as well. You can grow plants in a 3 gallon that will overtake your space it you want.

I like to use five gallon fabric pots for autos and 7 gallon for photos. You can use 3 gal. If you like.

I use 3 gall fabric pots for this reason. Bigger pots bigger roots bigger plants in a perfect world… but the worlds far from perfect. N if u can get an ounce from a solo cup, u can get what u need from a 3 gallon.
But if ur vegging lb sized monsters? 5 or bigger

A little bigger than a solo cut and way less than an once but a blast to grow. A plant from my single colas SOG. 6" nursery pots

No doubt, most growers would be fine in a 3 gal, I use 5 gals because I usually grow 5’-6’ tall monsters.
Talking about solo cups, I got a little over 2 oz without really trying too hard. I’ll have to try for 3 oz next time.

@Hellraiser that’s epic , I did not flower mines , but I did get one to get about that tall man that’s a lot of watering everyday ! I even had one clone and veg in a potato
