Best outside seed for for upstate new york

I grew Jack Herer last year outside and ended up losing it to mold. It was a very wet summer last year, but want to try again with a more resistant strain. The JH was also an auto. Any ideas for this area?

You can search on strains that are better at handling mold. I believe white widow is one of them.

It was hot and humid. Not the best outdoor growing conditions like everyone said. I planted one outside just to see what would happen and it ended up getting a little bud rot. Im not planning any outdoor plants this year!

I’m in East Texas. I really battled mold on my outdoor grows for years. Last year was the first time I planted White Widow. I had a few other plants but none of my WW were affected. I did change a few other things (I really got into LST and defoliation) but I got the WW for it’s resistance and that appears to have paid off…

I’m around the Syracuse area,I grew an unknown clone the year before that was fine. I’ve looked at the northern lights before as that was one recommended.

Northern lights is an indica strain which I would like to shut down the day with, but I would like a sativa heavy hybrid for the most part. Tricky looking for that perfect balance and a strain that can handle upstate N.Y weather. I tried an auto, but bud rot got to it.
