Im looking to upgrade light im looking at a ez 8 medi grow or a fc 6500 or 8000 mars hydro are these good options and what else is top line?

those are good options you should also look at HLG and AC infinity has just come out with a bar style light that is worth looking at

Agree with @dirtydave on the HLG and AC Infinity. ACI has some really nice new bar lights at affordable pricing. I’m sure the cost will go up soon on their latest line of fixtures

I’ll throw grow light science lights into the hat. I use three HLG 260 rspec lights and they are great. Screenshot from Growlightscience youtube video comparing 2 grow 300 to HLG 650R
I wonder though why it didn’t compare two HLG 350R to the grow 300s. Two fixtures should have better distribution than one larger one.

Data in that image for 650r is wrong too. If you fix data and consider typical discount code that is always available the 650r leads most if not all categories listed.

I have the whole AC setup so that would be nice im running a 5x5 setup i forgot to.mention that in post thanks for bday wishes appreciated much! So ive looked into the hlg for sure the price is little more then i wanna settle for but i dont wana settle for nlthing but the all.around best.so i dont need to upgrade later on i started with spider farm sf7000 but ratings are low im.thinking about getting a co2 setup as well thats what put me.onto the medi grow ez 8 but do i rlly need that much wattage in a 5x5? This my fjrst week after setup so im juat digging for answers that prob dont exists lolll

Im having a hard time deciding for 5x5 they say so many different options are good but im looking for the best quality buds i can get very indecisive loll the AC evo8 HLG (which light is best?) medi grow 8 spiderfarm g1000… any input helps thnx guys

I used a Grow 300 from Grow Light Science a few years ago. I have no complaints about it at all. As a matter of fact I liked it better than my ES-300 at the time, but the HLG 350R has them both beat for sure when it comes to performance.

Happy Birthday Grow Bro . I grow in 3 gallon fab bags and plan a diameter of 24” per plant for auto flowering and 30” or so for photo period. Trying and LST is used to keep the plants this diameter….that’s approximate because not all strains will grow the same but you can train them to grow as wide as needed. You can keep the height down with topping. There’s also the SOG method of growing multiple plants in smaller pots with training. For lighting I would estimate 35 watts minimum with a quality light fixture that has Samsung H series Diodes, AC infinity is running some new bar lights with improved Samsung diodes I have HLGs, Kind and just purchased a newer ACI 280 watt

The ac infinity evo8 comparable to hlg? Im rlly goijng for best future appliances so theres never a need to upgrade ive seen so much hlg hard to pass up but the price…

This is an HLG Scorpion Diablo in my 4x6 closet grow. I think it would be perfect in a 5x5 as well. Once the plants start getting crowded in there I move 2 of them to my 2x4 and 3 of them to my 2 1/2 x 5. They each have a 350R in them. I leave the 4 biggest ones in the closet, and the Scorpion Diablo’s coverage gets them all fairly evenly.

Ik.ur gonna say hlr but is that rlly my best option the evo 8 ac infinity is coming jun 5 idk if thats a good option im.trying not to spend 1300
I’m a huge fan of HLG and Kind. You can’t go wrong with either and I have experience with these 2 manufacturers. I have not tried the ACI lighting fixtures, I just recently purchased one of the newest ACI 280 watt fixtures
I’m an advocate for buying whatever you want. I suspect ac infinity will miss their release date as they typically do, and they’re not going to have the level of customer support that hlg does either. But if price is your biggest focus therr is plenty of cheaper fuxtures available.
