How big is your grow space?
The 2 most popular types of lighting at LED and HID.
With HID I believe you will what about 50 watts per square foot of space. (Ie a 3x3 tent would need 450 watts of lighting). For LEDs I believe you want 35-45 True watts per sq foot so a 3x3 tent would need at least 315 watts but probably closer to 400 to be safe.
