Best auto seeds for a noob

I’m looking for some autoflower seeds for my aunt, I dont have any experience with them. Can anyone suggest a good place to buy and a good hearty strain that stays short and allows for a few screwups.

Autos and  aren’t really compatible in my experience with them. Any reason for autos instead of photos? Photos are much more forgiving which is good for a new grower

I can see autos being easier if you’re an outdoor grower planting in a bed or ground but they do flourish better in grow rooms with constant care I recommend Jack herer for a solid head high

Zkittles from ILGM in happy frog start in 5 gallon fabric pot don’t overwater and watch the magic happen.

White widow auto pretty much grow themselves. I’d start with those they’re are very hard to screw up. Plus they’re always buy ten get ten free

As a new grower who has screwed up more autos than I’ve grown successfully I can’t second this sentiment more. My photos are beautiful and abundant.

As a person who got 2.25-3.5 ounces out of each of their organically grown autos 1st time around I’m either incredibly lucky , have a natural gift for this, or maybe they’re not to tricky once you really dedicate some time and really learn what the little babes needs( the guys around here really helped me establish my basic knowledge though) but I must say if you cant get a light proof grow space I absolutely recommend autos, photos are so sensitive to any light leak

Yeah, she needs autos as she is growing in a space with other tropical house plants and theres 16 hours of light. She has done a few photos and was placing them in and out of grow space during flower. Big ass pain. She has the basics down and has a green thumb so I think she should be good.

I’ll add @Nicky to give you a rundown on the hardy auto strains.

I’m a noob and am growing Girl Scout Cookies Extreme autos from ILGM and have enjoyed every bit of it so far. It’s been a fun and easy grow up til this point, I think I’m about 3 weeks from finish.

If your aunt is using this for medication…then I’d research and grow a strain that is needed for her pains/medical conditions…not necessarily one that is easy. Especially if she has a “green thumb”. Lol. If she’s has experience growimg things…I’d think she would do just fine with a good genetic strain from a reputable seedbank…like the one your at now…

So many strains it really depends on your climate zone / area if your outside.
If inside northern lights and white widow are great strains to start with.

She is growing for fun, it takes her 3 months to smoke an oz, her number one priority would be taste. Yeild is a non issue.

I think I’m gonna grab her some NL, I have had a lot of people reccomend.

It’s one of the oldest original genetics, it’s a heavy indica that is a good stone. If you let it Amber it can be couch locky/sleepy but if not you’ll just get a strong stone.
To date it’s my biggest yielding auto
