Bergman's gold leaf hardness to grow?

it says in write up that it is easy to cultivate and good for beginners, but it says it is moderate hardness to grow. is that because indoors you have to do scrog or lst?

was easy to grow.

wow, great looking stuff @Grandaddy013. i see both you guys did hydro and i’m in soil and will not attempt hydro for a long time. is growing in soil make it tougher to do this plant?

I’ve never grown in soil. I do believe @Myfriendis410 did Gold Leaf in soil, in a Scrog

Soil and media both. @MattyBear did too IIRC. It’s a great easy to grow strain kind of like White Widow. ILGM only has it in photoperiod; no autoflowering strain yet.

Don’t fear the scrog. Super simple to make and it really makes lst’ing a breeze. It’s also a good gauge for when to switch to flower.

@BobbyDigital , i just don’t want to do that until i have to. one good thing about the jardin is it comes with a web for scrogging. but the way i plan to grow i won’t be doing much scrog. my ambition is to have multiple strains of plants flowering at different stages of flowering so i have a wide variety to smoke instead of having to smoke same strain for 3 months. i was not kidding when i said i want to grow like @MattyBear . he does multiples and has cut down three different strains this past week or so. i can see being able to move one plant from veg tent to flowering tent when i harvest one, but i can see the difficulty of timing the vegs so they are ready, and that they don’t get too big before they go into flower tent. i only want a month or month and half of veg time as i don’t need lots of pot. from what i understand, keeping veg time low also helps in keeping pests and nute issues lower as you don’t have as long for that stuff to rear it’s ugly heads.

I am a beginner and I have come to love this strain. I ordered GL and LSD about a year ago. I am on my 4th grow now. The LSD I would say is the easiest to grow. The GL was a little challenging at first but this latest plant looks great! I was going to let the strain go but decided, about 2 weeks before harvest, to try to clone. I had never heard of super cropping before and the weird leaves freaked me out at first. I was going to let it go because of all the yellow leaves. I have had yellow leaves during veg and flower phase, pretty severe each time, but I harvested some mighty tasty and strong buds. I think a lot of the problem is keeping the temp and humidity in control. That’s hard to do inside in the hot Texas summers. Probably also why this plant is doing much better. I will be visiting Amsterdam in a couple weeks, hope to try some different strains while there.
