Itâs all good, I forget things too haha. Are you planting them directly in the growing medium(soil) or are you going to put them in somethin like a rapid rooter or other type of starting pellets or plug? If starting directly in soil plant them about 1/4 to an 1/8th inch and cover back up gently with soil. Soil need to be moist, not too wet and not dry, lie a happy medium between the 2.
Sorry for all the questions, just try into get an idea brother
Welcome @tdaddy54 weâre starting to see more Mainers on here now. Bunch of folks on here from MA. You can plant directly into their final homes but it will take them a bit to get the roots established but no real issue with doing that.
Good luck with your grow. Youâve got time to do some reading on the forum and ask some questions before your seeds get here so donât be shy!
Weâre all here to help. This is an amazing community
Soil medium , and thanks for the tips. Getting excited to watching my girls grow up !
I am setting up my Vivosun 4x4 grow tent ( for 6 plants ) with Vivosun 600 watt grow light. I also have a couple of small clip on fans . Besides the duck work is there anything else I should have, I do not care about smell (carbon filter ) I will be putting this tent in a upstairs bedroom next to a window for fresh air source.
Thanks for any tips[quote=âtdaddy54, post:1, topic:9214, full:trueâ]

Sorry still figuring out how to upload from this site
Do you have a way to track the temp and humidity? I have a small thermometer/hydrometer I got off amazon.
Yes I bought also a small temp/humidity
Yes I also bought temp/hydrometer
Yes you can, however itâs not recommand. If you decide to go straight to their final pot , remember that youâll need to do it with 2 different layer of soils : a âhotâ soil in the bottom and a seedling / sprouting friendly soil on top with at least 5 to 6 inch of it and water your soils good, water spray 3 to 4 times a day.
Like I said, itâs not recommanded to do so
Hoping thatâs respond to your question @tdaddy54

Welcome to ILGM ! There is Many years of growing experience with all the growers here. If you are new to cannabis, would highly recommend downloading Robertâs free Grow Guide that will help immensely getting started. I believe that most of the people here have started with it to get going.
Some things that are really important to get for growing:
- pH and ppm (TDS) meters Amazon has a lot of them
- pH Up and pH Down to adjust the pH of the water you feed with.
- 7.0 pH reference solution to make sure your pH meter is in range. This can be bought with the pH and TDS meters in a package of all three.
Those will get you started.
Also, when you start your grow, a support ticket will save a lot of time if you have problems (we ALL do) and has a lot of the information needed. Do not be afraid to ask questions, everyone here wants to help you get the best possible results.
COPY/PASTE: This âSupport Ticketâ into your forum post.
Answer these simple questions the best you can.
If you do not know, or do not use something; Just say so = NA

Add anything else you feel would help us give you a most informed answer. Feel free to elaborate, but try to be brief and to the point. Short and to the point questions and/or facts will help us help you
This will help get support as quick as possible if you need it without having to answer a lot of questions. Most of all, be patient with your plants. Cannabis is a fairly hardy plant and will take a surprising amount of abuse and still give you some great weed. The plants will do a lot of things for you but sometimes it is on their schedule, not yours. Good luck and good buds. Jerry
