It’s all good, I forget things too haha. Are you planting them directly in the growing medium(soil) or are you going to put them in somethin like a rapid rooter or other type of starting pellets or plug? If starting directly in soil plant them about 1/4 to an 1/8th inch and cover back up gently with soil. Soil need to be moist, not too wet and not dry, lie a happy medium between the 2.
Sorry for all the questions, just try into get an idea brother

Welcome @tdaddy54 we’re starting to see more Mainers on here now. Bunch of folks on here from MA. You can plant directly into their final homes but it will take them a bit to get the roots established but no real issue with doing that.

Good luck with your grow. You’ve got time to do some reading on the forum and ask some questions before your seeds get here so don’t be shy!

Do you have a way to track the temp and humidity? I have a small thermometer/hydrometer I got off amazon.

Yes you can, however it’s not recommand. If you decide to go straight to their final pot , remember that you’ll need to do it with 2 different layer of soils : a “hot” soil in the bottom and a seedling / sprouting friendly soil on top with at least 5 to 6 inch of it and water your soils good, water spray 3 to 4 times a day.

Like I said, it’s not recommanded to do so

Hoping that’s respond to your question  @tdaddy54

Welcome to ILGM ! There is Many years of growing experience with all the growers here. If you are new to cannabis, would highly recommend downloading Robert’s free Grow Guide that will help immensely getting started. I believe that most of the people here have started with it to get going.

Some things that are really important to get for growing:

  1. pH and ppm (TDS) meters Amazon has a lot of them
  2. pH Up and pH Down to adjust the pH of the water you feed with.
  3. 7.0 pH reference solution to make sure your pH meter is in range. This can be bought with the pH and TDS meters in a package of all three.

Those will get you started.

Also, when you start your grow, a support ticket will save a lot of time if you have problems (we ALL do) and has a lot of the information needed. Do not be afraid to ask questions, everyone here wants to help you get the best possible results.

COPY/PASTE: This “Support Ticket” into your forum post.
Answer these simple questions the best you can.
If you do not know, or do not use something; Just say so = NA

ILGM Support Ticket:

What is the strain and type(unknown bag seed, strain name, regular seeds, feminized seeds, auto-flower, etc)?
Indoor or Outdoor? If outdoor, planted in ground or in a container?
Size of space (max height and area, length/width)?
Soil or Hydro? Type of Medium used? System type?
pH? Of the soil or medium (root zone/reservoir/run-off) and of the water and/or nutrient mix that is fed to the plant?
Type and strength of nutrients used? NPK? EC/TDS/PPM levels? Of what you feed it as well as what is in the water by itself and in the soil/medium (run-off), or reservoir.
Temperature? Day vs. night temp or highest and lowest temps? Root zone temps?
Humidity %? Day vs. night
Light system/watts/lumens/FLUX/PAR?
Ventilation system? Size? CFM? CO2? AC, Humidifier, De-humidifier?
Number “weeks/days” from into Season, Vegetative Growth or Bloom/flowering?
Add anything else you feel would help us give you a most informed answer. Feel free to elaborate, but try to be brief and to the point. Short and to the point questions and/or facts will help us help you

This will help get support as quick as possible if you need it without having to answer a lot of questions. Most of all, be patient with your plants. Cannabis is a fairly hardy plant and will take a surprising amount of abuse and still give you some great weed. The plants will do a lot of things for you but sometimes it is on their schedule, not yours. Good luck and good buds. Jerry
