I started my grow off in a little closet space about 2x4(i don’t have any pictures I wish I did) but I did it the cheapest way possible, aluminum foil on the walls, bowl reflectors, cheap cfl from Lowe’s, a little 6 in 2 speed fan you see where I’m going… I tried to upgrade lights, fans, ventilation etc, then it seemed like nothing was going to change so I had to do better… I did it, and went online and got everything I needed to make an elaborate system.
As you can see I planted 2 seeds in one pot extremely close together(not smart on my part), I had these babies under 4 32 watt cfls(bowl reflectors) which I’ve been told is great for seedlings. I then saw these grow lights at target… I know target… but they had a par spectrum of 400-700 and I’ve read that the light spectrum is oerfevt for plants anyways I bought 2 of those and changed out 2 cfls for the 2 grow lights
I then transplanted they went into a bit of shock due to roots beings harassed a little bit but nothing crazy and these are still under the same lights. Oh I forgot I tried to FIM them both before transplant which I probably shouldn’t have done I FIMed at the 4th node of both plants.
And then I got all of my equipment set it all up and they looked 1000% better not even 5 hours after being in their new home! So after all the trial and error and some cabbage everything is coming together.
These are about 3 weeks old I was worried that they weren’t going to make it due to FIM and transplant within 24 hours of each other, but they made it and I don’t think the FIM worked I have 3 new bud points coming out of one plant and 2 on the other(typical topping) but I am happy how everything has turned out!!
AND I COULDNT HAVE DONE ANY OF IT WITHOUT THE SUPPORT OF THE ILGM FAMILY ! YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!
Also I have questions about temperature and fan speeds this is what I’m looking at now lights are on the cloudline is at speed 5 and my exhaust is also about half way…
I’m able to adjust I just don’t know what my inline/exhaust fan speeds should be I’m trying to mess around with it but I don’t want to put in intake fan on to high I don’t wanna blow my plants away but I’m guessing if I put it at full speed(or whatever) I can adjust my exhaust to make it not super windy in there right ?
It’s a balance deal you will get it I got two tents and two exhaust fans but if I turn both fans on it draws all the air out of the entire room and my AC can’t keep up so temperature rises so trying to find a balance myself.
Looks great so far nice job Only thing I can say is you’re exhaust has to be stronger than the intake otherwise you will get positive pressure. If you have a carbon filter setup then it will fail in my experience.
Alright so I was just bending some leaves out of the way for smaller node leaves to grow up to the canopy and this snapped I read to put a little honey on it and prop it up so I did and this is probably an hour later … should I just cut it off ?
Today is about a month from sprout so I fed them for the first time using nutrients!!
Sensi grow A&B - 1 ml each
B-52 - 2ml
Voodoo juice - 2ml
Cal mag - 3ml
My ppm after mix was 412
I saw some runoff so I sucked some up and the ppm was around 1050 is this normal or is this to high?
Also just mixed nutes for week 2 of nutrients/veg and my ppm is about 480 does it need to be higher or is it right ? @Hellraiser maybe you could help me out with this post and the one above this one ?
Here they are 5 days later the bottom plant is the one I mess around with I might have defoliated to soon but like I said I’m just messing around with it. The first plant is looking great tomorrow is 2nd feeding at half dose nutrients using Advanced Nutrients cannot wait to see what happens within the next week !

I haven’t been cutting any leaves off I’ve just been tucking them seems to be doing great, also I’m pretty sure they are female any help with that ?
Anything I should or shouldn’t be doing please let me know ! @Hellraiser hey I’ve been reading up on HLG I’m curious I have a 2x4(obviously) I’m looking at the 300L… what is the difference from b spec and r spec one is for flower and one is for veg? What do you suggest
