Found time to get up with @Leadfarmer101 yesterday and trade seeds and stuff. He got 3 GSC extreme auto, 1 Dosido auto, 1 Citradelic auto and 2 Gorilla Glue bag seeds. Also threw in some sticky traps and a few homemade peach gummy’s. He gave me 2 GDP auto and 2 Bruce Banner auto. Also a random assortment of dispensary bud in a small jar with a burp lid and the real prize, a brand new ac controller 69 (Bluetooth). Haven’t tried setting it up yet but I will before I chop so I can have the benefit of automation for drying.

Setup didn’t take long at all for the C69. Thanks  again @Leadfarmer101 !! Reading almost exactly what the accurite in the tent is.

It’s nice to see the numbers and confirmation that it was already dialed in. Bud pic is a few days ago. White pistils remain on the center tip tops and a couple obvious minor  tail spots but otherwise are all receded. Next weekend is in the window calendar wise. Trich checks daily from here on.

Glad to be able to help. I do love that controller, the only thing it was missing was wifi. Once you dial in your humidity output, temp and fan speeds, it maintains the setpoints pretty well.

The end weeks are exciting but like watching paint dry. Today is day 60. I don’t see much amber on the buds so I’ll just wait. Did another round of light defoliation focused on small lower fans and a few remaining larger ones topside.

Split a gallon of plain water then split a gallon of light feed this morning. Snipped off four little stems of the lowest hanging fruit yesterday and checked them with the loupe and found about 10-20% of the trichomes were still clear. Going to have to plan this harvest around a :poop: work schedule which makes next weekend too busy to chop. I will either have to do it Thursday or Friday after work or wait until next week. I’m not seeing any significant numbers of ambers on buds anywhere top to bottom I think waiting for next week will help anyway.

The bud in the background with the white twist tie was hiding some botrytis. I cut the top off just below the infected part and washed it in (I know it’s supposed to be water and peroxide) straight peroxide after cutting out the rot. I can say the buds are pretty dense compared to most of my previous. I inspected all over and found no other bad spots but I don’t have 360 access and the stuff hides in the buds. I’m going to peroxide mist all of it and set up an extra fan rather than knee jerk reaction harvesting. I’m definitely doing a wash this time around.

Sprayed them thoroughly and set up a couple extra fans Sunday. Found a few more trouble spots which I expected but it didn’t appear too widespread, fingers crossed. Went ahead with a fk flush, no number checks since this is the end week. Trichs are looking ready. I’m watching close. Sorry for the lack of pics.

Still standing. Just waiting for enough free time to get it done without interruption.

The reason I haven’t had as many pictures is because I’m limited to the selfie cam on my phone and I also have really shaky hands. Close ups are almost impossible because the focus is almost always on the background buds. It’s pretty frustrating but it’s a used phone that was free. I don’t use a digital scope either so no awesome trich pics. Occasionally I’ll have someone else take pictures and text them to me for posting but not lately. Any white pistols or anything appearing like building would be foxtail nibs at the center of the light footprint. They’re in the peak potency window and have enough ambers to justify harvesting soon. Even the low stuff is milky now. One morning this week I’ll be cutting, washing and hanging. Got everything ready to hang drip in the shower with fans then rough wet trim and hang dry in the tent with humidity regulation by exhaust fan connected to the controller 69. There will be circulating fan on low also. Shooting for a 7-10 day dry. Thanks for your continuous support friend.

See what I mean. Here’s what the main camera looks like in this next photo

A lot of growers use a tripod with the phone so you can just hit the button to take a picture or anything that would hold the phone for you maybe tape/wire the phone to a broom stick IDK
Have a great day my friend looks delicious

Thank you, and thank you for the idea. Unfortunately the problem will still remain of the selfie cam’s apparent inability to focus close enough to reveal the level of detail required to really see the trichomes. I’m confident enough in my judgement of the overall assessment using my loupe to avoid being one of those who post daily asking if they are ready yet when there’s still like 6 weeks to go  as if they don’t believe what their mentors are telling them. I also don’t want to come off as smug or unappreciative of those who follow along with me. I have to work with what I have for now and put most of the budget to necessities or improvements more directly related to the growing itself.

Done deal. The wash water wasn’t too dirty afterwards. Picture shows them hanging to drip dry and there is a fan under there outside the frame. I will be moving them to the tent for the actual drying and have them spread out a bit more than seen above. I will have to find a better way to hang after washing next time around so they can be spread out a bit better.
