Photos. Cloned over and over and over again. That way you don’t have to pay for seeds over and over and over again.
Plus if your cash cropping you want to do that as SOG anyway and clones are the best way to go for that

Is more about having mature plants that don’t need time to mature than seed cost, but growing for money every little bit helps.
Clones in sog cuts down on veg time, which doesn’t use as much energy vegging plants from seed and will get you to harvest faster if done properly.

Plants from seed won’t flower until they are mature regardless of light schedule. This usually takes about 4-6 weeks depending on strain and condition ls. Clones taken from mature plant could flower as soon as they have roots. You may not do this, but you could if you wanted unlike Plants from seed. Maybe you veg them for 2-3 weeks, if all is well they will typically be as big or bigger than plants from seed that are older. Which cuts down on total time to harvest and amount of energy you are paying for to get there. Faster is better because it’s cheaper. Then you just run as many plants as you need to fill your space.

Yep photos and clones and SOG is the way. Here’s some clones that were only vegged 2 weeks after rooting and placed into flowering, now 3 weeks into flowering.

Bending and tucking thing with your Scrog net or is it mostly just about letting the plants grow through it for support?

Not much tucking in a SOG, multiple clones flipped to flower asap. Net for support.
SCROG 1 to many plants grown into a net and tucked till your preference. Vegging in the net.

I have a 22 year old SOG system that I have used for both styles.
Apollo 11 wish back then I could a sprung for the 22.

On that grow that net is just to keep the colas from falling/leaning over when they get top heavy. Basically a netted SOG as the clones are very sativa dominant and very tall. No tucking on that one.
I do more of a real SCROG now and then where I do tuck the branches under the net and just let the grow tips come thru, just finished one:
