I don’t really support any “trimming” on auto’s but this girl is so thick and bushy, I did cull a few hidden and bottom leaves. She’s like three tiers of growth lower, middle and upper deck. Maybe I can sell seats like at the stadium!!! 36" wide 30" tall autoflower!!
I might also draw attention to the vibrant green leaves minus any nute burn hahahahahaha so far so good.
Because the res sits on the bench and the initial length of hose goes up and out the window, I had to use a 60ml syringe to siphon and get the nutes flowing. I may wind up elevating the res on the bench so that is’s all “down hill.” Otherwise, upon check this a.m. pot tray has nute solution, air is flowing and I just need to shade her from full afternoon sun today and tomorrow then perhaps, a proactive dousing with safer “Endsall” (Neem oil) to prevent aphids and mites.
Mmmm! Never had a Hofmann’s sausage, but they look delicious! Best dog I’ve had to date was when I was in Chicago at the Hot Dawg shop. Damnit, now I’m hungry haha
That sausage co. is in Syracuse NY. I grew up 70 miles N of Syracuse. Hofmann’s were the standard at all major gatherings. Everyday, not so much but special occasions definitely.
I moved out of NY state in 1999. I have always wanted to mail order them but they are not cheap to start then the overnight shipping is killer. I have relied on friends and family traveling here and bringing coolers full and/or trips home.
I even one time had the sales girl real close to trading straight up lobsters for hotdogs. She chickened out at the last minute. I’ve written the company many times asking why they do not sell all over New England, but they don’t. I’ve spoken to the chielf meat orderer at Hannaford supermarkets and asked that they look into stocking them (Price Chopper does and the closest is a 5 hr one way ride to New Hampshire.
Epilogue : I just went to the website, they are having a 20% off 4th of July sale and I pulled the trigger. $5.65/lb and that included shipping. First time in 19 yrs I don’t need to beg people to pack an extra cooler or two and load me up. Woohoo as @Countryboyjvd1971 might say!!! PS the fedex was 37 bucks but then, I don’t really want them sitting in a truck for four days lol.
I’m in a bit of a quandary this afternoon. I’ve gone back and looked at my first two BBA’s. At this stage (60 days) even with ph problems and root blow outs, my flowers were bigger then. I believe this plant (current BBA) is much larger than the previous two plants but does not have the development yet.
The primary difference in my approach is going easy on the base nutes. Last grow I was routinely giving my plants 2ml/L vs max 1.5ml/L this round. It’s allowed me to keep my tips from burning and overall healthier plants however; I said at the outset if I noticed yield differences I would rather burn them than have pretty buds.
For these reason(s) I am getting the impulse to bump my p’spm up above 1000?!?! Probably ponder it a bit but the res is low and in need of a top up!! lol
Food related I completely understand about not getting something after you move.
Mooville, and Bell’s beer I’ve missed. Can’t order it. Alaskan beer is shipped that way… go figure. I will tag you the first pics I get from Mooville, and Bells beer. So excited.
Three in agreement is more than enough motivation.
Just finished a batch with all my additives and it’s waiting for me to decide!! I know right now it’s the calmag that is throwing my ppm so high but the plants seemed to scream for it this round and at 2.5ml/L I start off with fairly large numbers before I even add my big bud, bud candy & hydroguard. I will have a bit of “room” as I am stopping the rhinoskin and that’s a heavy ppm hitter too! 1.75ml/L this 5 gallon batch, 2ml/L next batch!!!
I’m late, but would’ve been in agreement with the others. Especially with your setup, you can always bail anytime you want. I also agree with Matt, watch tips they give you plenty of time to say when enough is enough.
