Autopot section?

Hey can you use any fabric pot in the place of the plastic pots as long as they are the same diameter?

Yes but the key is finding them the same diameterā€¦
Also the XL trays are round the rest are square keep that in mind.

This is my 3rd run using plastic autopot xl 6.6gallon,and Iā€™m now considering the smaller 5 gallon cloth pots. Iā€™ve had some nice grows so far,and some issues were clogging and flooding, but mostly my own fault and lack of knowledge. I did buy a set of water alarms at a pretty decent price(you can link it to your phone too), and they have saved me a few times, and if you use one, knowing the slop of your floor is a plus. Iā€™m thinking about making a compost tea, strained well of course, as an amendment. I am currently using general hydroponics, with fish shit, soluble seaweed powder, sugaree, and calmag. I also use drip cleaner as well as hydroguard, and I have a pre-filter thatā€™s helpful. Next run,Iā€™m making sure to flush the lines more often and clean the valves and plugs so I wonā€™t have issues hopefully. I use ro water phā€™d to around 6, I got the humidity under control, now I need to figure out the heat situation before summer again because the stand up and the central running still wasnā€™t good enough(temps running around 84). There was a lot of controversy about the flushing in autopots,so I kind of went in the middle, and then some. So I top flushed for 2 days, but I let the bottoms dry out so when I flushed it didnā€™t really overflow(yeah, have some towels ready,or smarter thing,a wet vac lol) then I flush with just water and sugaree, sometimes molasses, for almost 3 weeks, and they are SUPER clean, and SUPER potent! Peeps thanks for the forum, include me carebear33@live.com, and lmk about your thoughts on pots etc! Thanks and peace to allāœŒIMG_20210828_105807_448|500x500

If you have any autopot questions feel free to ask uā€™ve bene growing with them going on 3 yearsā€¦ I think.

Flushing is not necessary but if you wish flush through the reservoir, 2 days is sufficient but do what works for you.

Setting them. In your trays correctly Is key and the #1 flood reason, aka human error.

I see your growing with organics, yes they clog lines. If your running organicss itā€™s key to rinse your reservoir each fill and also to. Keep that valve at the end so you can bleed the line once a week.
