Autopot mediums and mixes

Not sure if your all using autopots, but i have an autopot question. When turning on for the first time should pots be out of bases? What is the water level supposed to be in the Aquavalve5? Do i need to turn the system off to take plants out for grooming?

Thanks friends!! I finally am at the point of turning the system on :muscle:. Of all things, the last i had to wait for were the 3 little T’s for the airlines

I have two firsts going on. First autopot grow. First photoperiod grow. Looking good so far ill get some pics soon. Really loving the neat and clean look fron the autopot system

Pots should be inside. Otherwise the pots will displace the water and cause overflow. Go on, ask me how I know :sweat_smile:

Shouldn’t need to, as long as the pot isn’t empty when you remove the plant.

It’s pretty sweet, not gonna lie. I enjoy no runoff worries etc.

 i think i know where you’re going with that

Thanks for the info. It seemed low to me so i wasn’t sure I did it right. I use the air stone. It must just barely be covered

So far no leaks or overflows. Definitely looking forward to no flushing. That was a pain
