Autoflower outdoor grow lighting

Hi, First time grower and I little confused about the early stage lighting for an outdoor Autoflower grow. After the Germination process on the paper towel I add the seed to my final pot (since they are autoflower seeds and don’t need transplanting) then can I put them outside for sunlight or do I need to first keep them inside with some kind of lighting system? I live in Los Angeles with the current average temp of 63 and over 13.5 hrs of sunlight. The average temp and sunlight length will obviously increase as the summer hits.
Thanks

You should be fine to put it outside and let Mother Nature do her thing. Now if you had them sprouted before putting them out then its a different ball game.
