Question regarding auto flowering plants: “ready to harvest in 100 days”. When does the count commence?
The 100 days is only an estimate, but the 100 days would start as soon as it starts flowering.
Plants make their own schedule, and finish when they want.
depends on the breeder, as different sites post their times different, some do flower to harvest, others do seed to harvest. 100 days of flower seems long, unless it is a heavily on the sativa side, it is possible, what strain are you looking at…

Just my 2 pennies, being autos, they could herm, light stress, but I do know a few that knows autos a whole lot better an lights, @dbrn32 @Nicky @Covertgrower
I think 100 days of flowering is pretty long for typical auto flower. It could happen, but I would expect most auto grows to be around 100ish days from germination to harvest. Probably going to vary some from breeder to breeder and strain to strain.
Thank you for providing some more definitive information. I know what “germination” is but not sure about “begin to flower” means. I see little bud like things but I don’t know for sure if that is just part of the bud growing or is it a flower? You recommendation is much easier for me to follow. These will be outdoor plants around the 42 latitude in Michigan. Any other easy tips?
