Sprouted 2 seeds of BB auto, they are in their 6th week. One has a lot of branches growing from below with lots of buds on them, the other has all the buds growing right on the main stem. Am wondering if there is that much genetic variation in the same strain or was there a mix up at the factory. I also sprouted some AH auto and none of them grew taller than six inches at harvest time although they did bud.

You’re seeing what is probably two things. Probably most prevalent, is a different phenotype between the two. Picture it as having two kids, they may share some similarities but they will also have some differences.
The other could be a slight difference in environment. Maybe more light is shining on one plant than the other, or it has better airflow. Either way, both are normal plant activity and nobody screwed up anywhere.
