Have been using LST for a couple years now but I’m trying to perfect it still. Should I trim this leaf circled in red to provide more light to bud sites or should I wait for pre flower?? Day 31 Bruce Banner auto. The other is gelato cookie. My question is on the BB. (Don’t mind the splash burns on a couple of the leaves…whoops)

I do some light leaf removal to allow smaller sights more light and auxin hormone.

You bet. I would certainly do a light dofol (despite what people say about autos)
I’ve found that the trim is well worth the “risk” of trauma….you won’t even be able to tell you did trim in a week or so

Every plant is different but in your case I would take a couple of leafs , nodes look very close. Happy growing

Also, on those nodes being so close, which I also noticed, you could raise your lights to encourage more stretch… I could be wrong, but imo, if you don’t get some hight, you might end up with a shrub…not bad if that’s what you are aiming for, but most people like the taller plants

Excellent idea. I actually tried to post this last night and it ended up posting the next day for some reason…I raised my light about 6 inches last night and I got a lot more stretch by the end of the following day.

Yep. I LST too and whenever i want em to stretch it out, i just raise my lights. Ive been treating these girls like photos but they flipped on their own…(the five in the middle) still trying to figure out if the stress made em flip or something else…

I’m not one of the AF gods. I’m on my first grow. It was scary but I trimmed the really big leafs that I thought were blocking light and any leaf that didn’t look perfect. Can’t even tell I did anything to them. I wonder if I should trim more.

Hey man plants look great! I definitely would! When using lst with it i always tryn first bend a fan leaf out of the way to get better light penetration. If it’s not bendable/tuckable go for it. It won’t really stunt. Plus with autoflowers you only have a certain amount of time to get bud bearing branches big so try get them all exposed. The difference between 5 days of light is incredible. Just make sure u clean tools before or u could infect/kill plants. I’d not recommend topping autos tried side by side n with autos it normally yeilds less. Only had a few autos that actually yielded more. Strains very.
