At what point do I change the 24/7 lighting to 12/12?

A customer has a question and I hope we can get some opinions on it, thanks

My plants are in 5 gal cloth buckets. They are approx. 16 inches. They have been in cloth pots for 2 1/2 weeks now. The leaves are outgrowing the sides of the containers. I thought I would use 7 gallon next time. WILL THIS BE A GOOD CHANGE? BIGGER POTS?
Next, at what point do I change the 24/7 lighting to 12/12? Will the plant show signs of something to watch out for?
I’m using SOHUM potting soil. Let me tell you, High Times Magazine had it right. This soil is unbelievable. Plants seem to love it. It is so easy. Like they say, just add water!
Anyway, please, if you can give me that info I’d appreciate it.

It’s best to flip to flower when you start to see pistils, but you can switch any time after 4 weeks of vegging.

Good rule of thumb is get the plant to 1 half the final size you want then put it in flower as the nearly double in size during the stretch in flower
